In conclusion: I was hungry so I started with Pad Thai first. Even that, I could not endure pass half of it. The whole order is $20 before tips, the same price as other quality restaurants. Therefore I expected more than this.
- Tom Kha: too watery. This seems like a mixed version between Viet & Thai soup. I am Vietnamese so I can handle it, but I want original Thai taste
- Thai Tea: must be at least 3 days old but it's normal. Not a complain here.
- Pad Thai: the brown sauce has no sweet, only sour (too much vinegar). Tomatoes as decoration...they should be scallions instead. Other things to note is the bean sprout is not fresh but not too bad. The chef burned the egg a bit, but he did the beef (yes I like it with beef) a good job!
The meal is terrible. I ordered Pad Thai, Tom Kha, and Thai Tea to go.
Great place for a quiet lunch/ dinner. Serene and peaceful ambience. I had the Jade Curry rice with Tofu and I found it amazing. Did feel it a little less spicy but then again I do have a high spice threshold. The one downside was that the food took a little ( just a little) long to come.
Honestly the best! Always so nice good is delish and wirkers are always so nice. Just dont ho if you are trying to have a fast meal. They are a proper sit down resturant so it is best for a relaxing meal. If you go you have to try the ruby curry!
I like the ambient but that's about it. Before getting to the complains, I want to say that I am Vietnamese who used to work in 2 other Thai restaurants and had dinners in multiple other Thai restaurants from California, Las Vegas, and around Virginia.
Might have just been what I ordered, but the food was bland, and the place seemed messy. Other than the dessert and sauces that you can get to make the dish actual interesting, I was not impressed with my Pad Thai or the appetizers I had. The bubble tea had way too much ice, and I felt like I paid way too much for what I thought would be better food with bigger portions.
Good food but, seems watered down from what I have experienced in Thailand. The food just wasn't what I have come to know from Thai food in the actual country. It is possible that the owners have adjusted the dishes to cater to an American pallet. the dishes fell short in flavor.
