Worst venue in all of Blacksburg. Attended a great ceremony held by an Virginia Tech organization. I was falsely accused of being intoxicated and was immediately thrown out by the management during the middle of the event. The security unfairly treated me with no respect even though I remained calm and collected during the entire ordeal. I will never return here and you shouldn't waste your money here. There are definitely more understanding venues in the area.
Our guests seems to truly enjoy the food. Custom Catering was willing to work with us and even give us a small military discount. Noah was kind and always available to talk when needed. I really appreciated the kind words and smiles from the staff at the wedding. I was very pleased!
I organized an event through here for an on campus organization, and I couldn't have had a better experience. I requested to sit down with someone to help me plan, and we easily and casually were able to discuss what the best options were and how to go about it. I was content on the menu we decided upon and the pricing was very clear. The best part was that we didn't have to pay extra for additions like the number of tables and chairs, a podium with a speaker, a stage, table for the food, projector screen, etc. I wasn't used to this after dealing with places like Squires or the Inn at Virginia Tech where we were charged for every single item. While those places may seem more 'classy,' this modest location is even better, offers great parking, and the best staff possible. We also had a mix up, on my end, on payment, but they were more than understanding on what we did wrong and were very kind in informing me when we didn't pay. Highly recommend for any in house catering events!
I have been to many functions at Custom Catering. Noah makes business a pleasure, and his staff was wonderful each and every time. The food has always been wonderful and is not the normal open the can and dry chicken that you get from others. I recommend them every time someone ask about an event and will continue to do so. Keep up the good work!
My Relay for life team recently hosted a fundraiser event here and it was great. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The building has a lot bigger than we expected which was great! I definitely recommend this place for events!
