Simple atmosphere but delicious food. Menu had a great selection of authentic Indian food. I will definitely go back there to eat dinner.
I had the worst night ever we use to go every week and tonight they treat us like we were asking for free food we told them some of the food is raw can you change it the response to us like we serve like this we don't get any complaints about our food. I think they are overconfident about that food. I understand that no one is perfect but at least you have to response to customers in proper manner. I will suggest them to go training for customer service for 2 weeks. If you guys want to do crazy experience good luck to you everyone. I will never go to this place anymore. I m done with them. Excellent naan. Wish the portion sizes in general had been a bit bigger considering how expensive this place is. Additionally, my date and I felt very unwelcome here. The staff watched us constantly with what can only be described as suspicion. Youd think they would be more comfortable with college students as clientele considering they are located 500 yards from a major university...
A very reasonable buffet lunch choice, for dinner India Garden can be best described as fortunate there is no other Indian restaurant in town. Portions are not at all generous, spicing is weak, value is low. Very little difference between regional dishes that in a good Indian restaurant would be very distinct. It's not a bad meal, but it isn't good Indian. If you have time, go to Roanoke. If you don't, consider Mexican instead.
The service was poor. The waiter was starring at us eating the entire time. When it was around 9:00 pm he told us to hurry up and said that he won't take orders after this. He also asked us again to hurry up at 9:30 pm. I sincerely think that the food was fine but the service was poor. I think the restaurant needs to have its workers trained.
