Paid $200 for a bike. I know nothing about bikes so I was surprised that I go sent home with a bike that both tires were on the verge of blowing out, which one did when i was riding it. The chain was old and broke twice, and three broken spokes. After all said and done I should've invested in a brand new bike. I don't even take it back to Hokie spokes anymore cause I can't trust the guy. He literally has sent me out the door with broken parts..... as if i wont notice. The owner doesn't care about the customer at all or the safety. The bike was probably only worth 50 bucks.

Shop is dirty. Bikes are mostly garbage. Staff knows nothing. Avoid at all costs.
I've been going to Hokie Spokes for my biking needs for about 5 years. The owner and staff have always been very helpful and they have better prices than their competitors.
This place is pretty much awesome. I went in looking for a road bike, and the owner was extremely knowledgable, friendly, and willing to work with me. He even stayed after closing to assist. Easily the best customer service experience I've ever had anywhere, bike or not. If you're hesitating about going to a local bike shop instead of Walmart or another department store, make the right choice. I'll definitely be back whenever I need anything bike related.
