Dishonest and belittling. Take advantage of students (especially female). Went here for an inspection. Got swindled out of several hundred dollars for "repairs" that turned out to be unnecessary. They gave me the run around until I finally took my car to my trusted mechanic back home who passed my car without any issues. He said they must have taken one look at me and decided they could make a pretty penny. I was disrespected by this shop. I have learned my lesson (a very expensive one); however, if you have a son or daughter who is a VT student, seek business elsewhere!
Check engine light came on and brakes were squealing. Dropped my car off on Friday evening on my way home from work, it was ready by mid-morning Saturday. They took the time to take the wheels off to check my drum brakes in back (just a rough spot, they were fine), cleared the code, and drove it around to see if the light came back on (it didn't). Very thorough but charged me almost nothing to get it checked out. Did a great job with my new set of tires too, price was right in the range I expected.
Quality work but prices not inexpensive. Friendly staff who were patient and willing to explain the work they were doing. Would recommend if gainfully employed.
If you are a student, don't go here. I was a level A technician for Toyota and Hyundai for years before I decided to further my education. I checked my girlfriend car over before she brought it here to get it inspected. But because she is a college female, they tried to take advantage of her when it didn't need any of these so called work. Also left a couple of their recommendation from the phone call off of the invoice. Either way, don't trust them if you are a student. Her dad is coming to pick up her car and bring it back to Nova to trusted friends I worked with in the past.
Go here for an oil change but nothing that involves them doing intensive work on your car. I got an outrageous quote for getting upper and lower ball joins replaced for both front tires. Ended up going to Snappy Lube for a much more reasonable price and they seemed a lot more honest there.
