Super clean, super friendly and highly recommended!
I have no idea how this hotel got such great reviews! By far THE MOST UNCOMFORTABLE BED ON EARTH! Nevermind the entire place smells dusty and like a dog. The sheets smelled like dirt and the night shift check in staff was busy grazing on the cold cereal buffet. We paid a premium price for two rooms on Virginia Tech White Coat weekend and were told upon check in..no discounts on weekends..no AAA no AARP and no VT discounts! Ridiculous! Clean this place up! And of all things buy some decent mattresses!
The hotel is also pet friendly, which was perfect for us.
The room was clean and so was the bath. We slept great in the beds.
Friendly staff greeted us and put us in a convenient room for our pet. Also, made a suggestion of where to go for a healthy salad.
Decent room, clean and in good repair. The bathroom was not so great. The toilet was loose (not bolted tightly to the floor) and various hardware in the shower was loose. The staff was very friendly. The rates more than doubled because Virginia Tech was having their move in week. I don't really agree with that practice. Overall a good hotel. Would stay again, just not during events where the price rises unreasonably.
My family recently relocated from Germany to Blacksburg, VA. We had originally booked the Comfort Inn because it allowed pets and was close to what we thought would be our new home. That home fell through, and we had to extend our stay for a month until our new home was ready. The staff was absolutely wonderful throughout our stay! They made us feel at home, and we ended up making some wonderful friends! We will highly recommend this hotel!!!
Nicely remodeled. They’re great about travelers with dogs. Ask about a discount if you’re visiting Virginia Techs animal hospital.
Breakfast offered hot food options and was the perfect meal to start our day on the road.
This was a perfect stop halfway through our two day trip home.
Also, if you’re a light sleeper, make sure you request “Mountain View” room.
