I would give this place 6 stars if I could! I went there to celebrate my birthday with several people, and the food was AMAZING. There were several options, and the prices weren't bad. In addition, the employees were very nice and friendly. Our seating area was also very comfortable and the atmosphere was great and family-friendly.
If you want a lot of food for a good price go here. If you get something basic like spaghetti, their meatballs are the size of a small snowball. I got a large calzone at dinner time, it was a very large portion and it tasted great for local food. The staff is very nice and the service is excellent.
I shared a calzone which had generous portions of meat and cheese, there was no problem adding banana peppers on half the pie. All in all a nice experience.
Decent pizza/pasta place. Service was good, prices were fair and the menu selection was pretty wide.
A deliciously delightful evening. Avellinos menu hasn't disappointed us yet. The staff very gracious and their G.M., Jason, was engaged with his customers while orchestrating the staff in a harmonious song that was still floating through our heads as we drove home.
Good food.I had to edit my review. Sorry she'll know. But the food is getting to be hit or miss lately and not doing good at taking orders for take out. The place was empty the other night and I still waited 30 minutes for my order that I called in, sandwich was cold and should have been hot. I guess I am still trying to hold them to wake standard but o well.I will continue to eat here, being in my opinion the best Italian in Blacksburg. Hope I can up my stars in the future
